« Health Food ... And The Bella Sinclair Award For Art Inspiration | Main | Lagoon »
Better Every Day
by Marian Fortunati on 8/5/2009 10:22:41 PM

It seems like the summer has swept past. I think, however, that there is lots of summer fun to look forward to. In the meantime, the flu, pneumonia and two surgeries are happily behind me.

I get to enjoy beautiful sunsets like this one from my bedroom window.

I've enjoyed seeing relatives and old friends. Some I haven't seen in years.... some I'm lucky to see often.

I got to hold my new granddaughter. I've read lots of good (and not-so-good) books. I've enjoyed my family, had lots of fabulous meals (cooked by my wonderful husband) and I've even painted a bit.

Life is good!

"Life is good" just reflects your joyous and generous attitude about being part of it.
Getting through those wallops gives a sweeter slant to what lies ahead.
Glad you're recharged, well tended by loving family and friends, and, well, it's hard not to feel blessed looking out at that view.

Those are two really nice paintings I haven't seen before. How do you turn them out so fast?As for your loving family, it is great to be part of it. Love, Dad
